Now parents can send their scout on hiking and camping trips and have peace of mind that they are safe out there while scouts are having fun on the hike. Scouts can see their hike buddies on the hike in near real time on Android / iPhone / iPad, smartphones as well as tablets and at home on browser
GeoScout is a subscription service designed for those scouts that are registered with their respective Council / District / Troop. This registration can be done on the GeoScout web site: www.lbssystems.net/geoscout for $5.99 per year. Scouts under 13 will need their parents' permission to register. All scouts will also need their respective scoutmaster's permission to activate the use of the service.
